As an insurance-focused Solution Architect, you'll lead and deliver complex Finance transformation projects, leveraging your deep understanding of data and systems to design and implement innovative solutions that optimise financial operations. You will be a key player in translating technical vision into business value, fostering strong client relationships, and developing our team's capabilities.

What will you be doing?

• Client Delivery: Driving Impact Through Innovative Solutions
  • Be part of teams that deliver large-scale FS Finance Transformation programmes, independently leading workstreams, focusing on Solution, Data, and Systems Architecture design.
  • You'll be accountable for engagement delivery and ensuring exceptional client outcomes.
  • Communicate and demonstrate, through successful delivery, the tangible benefits of KPMG’s Finance Systems Transformation approach, ensuring these benefits are fully realised for our clients.
  • Manage cross-functional global engagement teams, both internally within KPMG and externally with client teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Build strong rapport and maintain strategic relationships with external vendors, acting as a crucial conduit between vendors and client teams.
  • You'll translate complex system 'jargon' into clear, actionable business terminology.
  • Cultivate positive and collaborative relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Facilitate collaborative and fulfilling working environments for both client and KPMG staff on engagements, promoting a culture of shared success.
• Business Development: Expanding Our Reach and Impact
  • Leverage your internal and external networks to support Partners and Directors in driving business development and sales activities, identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and/or support the development of compelling responses for proposals (RFPs) and impactful sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative Go-to-Market propositions that directly address critical client issues.
  • Actively build credibility and relationships within the market, including with prospective clients and key technology vendors.
  • Identify and champion cross-sell opportunities, bringing valuable engagements to other parts of the firm where appropriate.
• Practice Development: Shaping Our Future
  • Lead the development of processes and initiatives crucial for scaling our business, including through formal training programs across the team.
• Risk Management: Ensuring Robustness and Compliance
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring engagement assurance and commercial risk management.
  • You will ensure the Firm's frameworks are implemented appropriately and effectively.
