KPMG’s Strategy Group practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a manager role, with a background in Procurement.
Ideally with some experience in Deals (Integrations, Separations and Due Diligence).
The Operations Co E team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which provides advice to deliver greater value for clients by bringing deep industry and functional insights in deals.
We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead and support procurement workstreams across buy-side and sell-side transactions throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Advise clients on procurement-related opportunities, risks, and organisational changes resulting from transactions.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a key day-to-day contact.
- Manage projects, coordinate deliverables, and provide strategic procurement insights and recommendations.
- Support business development activities, contribute to thought leadership, and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure high-quality delivery while adhering to KPMG's risk and governance frameworks.
What Will You Need to Do It?
- 5–8 years' experience in Procurement within Consulting or Industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, SRM, and Source-to-Pay (S2P).
- Experience leading teams, managing projects, or delivering procurement transformation programmes.
- Understanding of procurement operating models, processes, systems, controls, and performance metrics.
- Exposure to M&A activities such as integrations, separations, carve-outs, or due diligence is desirable.
- Strong analytical, commercial, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and provide practical, data-driven recommendations.
- Strong academic background; financial modelling experience and additional language skills are advantageous.
