We’re looking for a US Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join a growing, high-performing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work across complex cross-border tax matters, build strong client relationships, and play a key role in shaping a developing US tax practice within a leading firm.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and supporting the end-to-end US tax compliance process
  • Preparing and reviewing US tax returns of varying complexity
  • Advising on US/UK tax and residency matters
  • Supporting projects involving domicile, residence, and cross-border issues
  • Building strong client relationships and managing portfolios
  • Delegating work, mentoring junior team members, and supporting their development
  • Working closely with colleagues across different teams and international locations

What we’re looking for:

  • EA and ATT qualified
  • Strong experience in US private client tax (compliance + review)
  • Good understanding of:
    • Substantial Presence Test
    • Statutory Residence Test
    • Domicile and residency principles
  • Experience with CCH Axcess preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • A proactive approach and desire to take ownership of your career
