Overview
KPMG UK Birmingham, England, United Kingdom. Corporate Tax Manager role within the Midlands Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in Birmingham or Nottingham with a network of 20 offices nationally. Join a network of specialists in Corporate Tax who collaborate with organisations across a broad range of tax solutions. The team offers a forward-thinking working environment with a supportive structure and management team, delivering advisory services and compliance work.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with Partners, Directors and/or Senior Managers on complex projects to deliver technically excellent advice and service.
- Managing UK and cross-border advisory projects, liaising with specialists, overseas member firms and external advisers, critically analysing input to deliver successful projects.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Managing teams and coaching junior staff in technical delivery and soft skills.
- Managing engagement quality, risk processes and client financials.
- Being a role model for KPMG’s values.
You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting if that interests you.
Qualifications
- Qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent.
- UK corporation tax experience.
- High energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude with an inclusive, collaborative approach.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and teamwork capabilities; ability to multi-task and manage multiple clients and relationships.
- Ability to develop and coach junior team members and a commitment to continuous skill development.
