Our Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) advises major public and private sector infrastructure and asset-intensive organisations across all sectors, including Natural Resources, Energy, Power, Utilities, Transport, Oil and Gas, Defence, Health and Education. We are strengthening our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to meet increasing demand from these organisations in support for how to use data, analytics and technology to unlock value from their assets and infrastructure. We are building our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to support Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure clients in responding to these challenges. Our team includes skills and competencies across Regulation, Strategy, Project Finance, Capital Delivery, Asset Management and Operations. We are investing in next-generation technology and AI to transform the way we advise and support our clients across these areas.
What will you be doing?
- You will play a critical role in growing and delivering the Asset Management and supporting technologies for the Strategic Delivery Partner team, building relationships with senior management in client organisations and identifying and developing business opportunities.
- You will shape and develop our approaches to implementing Enterprise Asset Management Systems and other digital Asset Management solutions.
- Support the Strategic Delivery Partner leadership team and Asset Management workstream lead in developing our propositions, winning business and delivering engagements.
- Participate in KPMG’s global Asset Management and InfraTech networks.
- Develop relationships with our key Alliance Partners around Enterprise Asset Management Systems and the wider ecosystem of digital Asset Management solutions.
- Engagement Management of project teams on client engagements.
- Support business winning activities, including opportunity identification and proposal development.
- Manage quality and risk on engagements to meet KPMG standards.
- Financial management of engagements including budgeting, reporting and invoicing processes.
- Performance Management and mentoring of IAG employees.
- Client facing role for both business development and delivery, including stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
- Liaise with technical teams on the client side to support productionising of proof of concepts.
- Change management of client teams to embed solutions and supporting processes.
- Develop internal networks with other data, analytics and technology teams in KPMG.
What will you need to do it?
- Experience working with asset information, data analytics and technology to solve problems, drive business improvement in asset-intensive organisations.
- Broad understanding and interest in several infrastructure industry sectors.
- Understanding and experience of Enterprise Asset Management Systems and the digital solutions landscape in Asset Management.
- Deep knowledge of at least one industry within construction, transport, power, utilities and defence.
- Demonstrable experience of innovative thinking.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of delivering projects within a disruptive sector, such as a technology start-up.
- Experience of delivering Asset Intelligence, Digital Twin or Smart Buildings projects.
- Experience in consultancy / client-facing assignments.
