  • Accounting and/or UK tax qualification (Chartered Accountant or equivalent, Chartered Institute of Tax)
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax
  • Minimum of three years in a professional environment

  • Responsibility for an indirect tax portfolio of NI, cross border & multinational clients.
  • Working with supportive Partners and Directors on both tax compliance and advisory engagements.
  • Liaising with clients and advising on all relevant tax issues.
  • Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on client’s behalf and seeking rulings on certain tax positions.
  • Responsibility for training and monitoring associates together with reviewing their work.
  • Liaising with other departments e.g. Deal Advisory to ensure advice and projects are successfully completed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role.
