We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Tax Technology & Innovation team. This role will be based anywhere in the UK â preference will be given to candidates in London â and will require regular travel to London. While prior tax domain knowledge is not required, you should be able to quickly acquire domain expertise over time.
The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation team is a multidisciplinary group of technology consultants, business analysts, product owners, data architects & engineers, and IT service delivery professionals. We develop and deliver innovative technology solutions across Tax & Legal to help our clients meet their tax obligations efficiently.
Qualifications- Previous experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.
- Recent experience using advanced analytics to solve complex business problems.
- Excellent knowledge of Alteryx, ideally with the Alteryx Designer certification.
- Experience manipulating large data sets.
- Awareness of data visualisation tools â e.g. Power BI, Tableau.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL and an understanding of SQL programming.
- Strong problemâsolving skills with the ability to logically analyse complex requirements, processes and systems.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, being able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience using the Azure data platform; Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, SQL Data Warehouse & Fabric.
- Programming experience using R or Python.
- Worked with Agile teams using Scrum or the Scaled Agile framework.
- Alteryx Advanced or Expert certifications.
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of highâquality analytics solutions for internal and external clients.
- Work with teams of analysts using Alteryx and related tools to automate a variety of ETL and reporting processes for internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with BI developers to develop visualisations, providing insights to our clients.
- Coach and mentor others to help them achieve their potential.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders, both internally and with clients.
