In this role, you will design, build and deliver software solutions within the Tax & Legal Technology Engineering team in London. You'll work in a small, collaborative squad to create world-class web applications and cloud-native services. You'll develop with modern languages and frameworks, contribute to secure and scalable systems, and grow domain knowledge in tax over time. The role combines hands-on coding with delivery responsibilities in a fast-paced, Lean-Agile environment, with a strong emphasis on learning and impact.

  • Design, specify and develop software solutions
  • Deliver in a Lean Agile team using Scaled SCRUM
  • Build web applications with back-end C#/ASP.NET Core and front-end Typescript/React/Angular
  • Create cloud-first applications with infrastructure as code and deploy on Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Model data using Entity Framework or NoSQL databases and integrate with a cloud message bus
  • Build resilient microservices and micro-front ends
  • Follow secure coding and infrastructure practices

Key requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing, specifying and developing software

  • Collaborative, agile mindset and ability to work in a team
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools
