KPMG’s Legal Operations and Transformation Services (LOTS) team is a priority growth area for KPMG with significant investment plans and big growth ambitions. One of our key services is Contract Management Transformation, where we help clients to drive cost efficiencies, minimise risk and maximise contract performance across the enterprise through the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology platforms.

The Role
We are looking for talented Contracting Consultants to join us in growing the Contract Management Transformation practice within LOTS, by helping our clients adapt and make the most of technological advances to help them better manage their contracts. Working closely with our team, you will not only be delivering transformation work for our clients, you will also be instrumental in helping us to grow our business.
You will be responsible for leading, scoping, design, development and implementation activities across multiple client projects to deliver leading contract management solutions. You must be confident in leading client interactions, gathering, validating and testing requirements as well as overseeing the end to end contracting transformation of large global projects. You will work closely with client stakeholders, delivery leads, business analysts, developers and testers to guide the design through to implementation and beyond whilst ensuring KPMG risk and quality standards are adhered to.
Key aspects of the role include:

Lead client workshops to gather requirements

Co-ordinate the technical delivery of a portfolio of contract management projects – some will be pure consulting others will involve CLM technology

Define technical solutions at an architectural and design level of detail

Manage process mapping and improvement opportunities

Manage client communications and project management

Continuous growth of knowledge around CLM technologies through internal / external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources

Ability to establish deep and lasting relationships with clients and team members to enhance the reputation of KPMG as an advisor of choice

Support the Contract Management Transformation presales opportunity lifecycle

Contribute to the development of KPMG’s Contract Management Transformation service roadmap

Ensure the project delivery team complies with KPMG solution architecture standards and frameworks

Operate as a member of the wider KPMG community, sharing knowledge across functions and building your personal network within the firm

Extensive experience in consulting / professional services and end client delivery

Experience in contracting or contract management

Experience of leading offshore development teams and working with engagement leads, project managers and business analysts to deliver enterprise wide contract management solutions

Experience with delivering global solutions in complex client environments

Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approaches with a focus on reducing development effort and simplifying delivery as appropriate

Experience of agile and traditional software and project methodologies

Ability to author clear and comprehensive documentation with strong attention to detail

Able to communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear to influence and align stakeholders around a proposed approach

Desirable experience:

A proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on CLM platforms on time and on budget

Experience of delivering technology projects on one or more of the following – Contract Express, iCertis, DocuSign CLM, SirionLabs, Coupa CLMA or other CLM technologies such as Agiloft, Conga and Onit

Certified in PRINCE2 / PMP / equivalent
