The predicted salary is between 80000 - 100000 £ per year.

You will be required to work within the Indirect Tax North team to accelerate the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders at clients and prospective targets.
  • Lead business development initiatives and pitch for work with new and existing clients, both domestically and internationally.
  • Drive sales and set the standard for insight and technical opinions delivered to the client.
  • Be knowledgeable on client business issues and KPMG solutions, and deliver them in a compelling way.
  • Interact confidently at the most senior levels internally and externally, while collaborating effectively with peers.
  • Inspire and develop junior members of the team.
  • Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, curious attitude with a real passion for indirect tax and helping clients.
  • Use strong business‑development and client‑facing skills to identify opportunities and convert them to commercial projects.

Qualifications

  • Suitable for a Senior Manager or Director with a proven track record, stepping up into a Director role.
  • Focus on VAT within indirect tax; experience collaborating with tax specialists, lawyers and finance functions.
  • Strong attention to detail for reviewing complex technical problems while maintaining a strategic, client‑service perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral – with the ability to adapt to a range of audiences and situations.
  • Project management skills, able to manage own workload and the workloads of others.
  • Displays an inclusive, collaborative approach and operates in an inspirational and respectful manner with colleagues, clients, and the wider community.
  • Sustains a high level of drive, enthusiasm and a positive attitude that translates across the team.
