The KDN KYC / AML Solution Architect is responsible for designing, shaping, and governing scalable KYC, AML, and Financial Crime solutions that support KPMG's global clients across industries and jurisdictions. The role serves as the primary architect for global KYC / AML solution design across managed services, regulatory transformation, platform implementations, and large‑scale multi‑country engagements. This role works on solutions, go‑to‑market and enablement in close collaboration with Member Firms and Global/Regional KYC/AML leadership. The architect translates regulatory, business, and operational requirements into repeatable, commercially viable, and scalable solution architectures that can be delivered through KDN's global delivery network. The architect brings deep expertise across customer lifecycle management, customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, case management, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk, or a related discipline; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CAMS, CFE, CISSP, CISM).
- Extensive experience designing and leading large‑scale, multi‑country AML/KYC and regulatory transformation programmes, including managed services.
- Deep subject‑matter expertise across AML domains: CDD/EDD, onboarding, sanctions, transaction monitoring, investigations, and SAR reporting.
- Strong regulatory knowledge with proven ability to interpret and assess impact across global frameworks (FATF, AMLD, BSA, FCA, EU, FinCEN).
- Hands‑on solution architecture experience with leading AML/KYC platforms and RegTech vendors (e.g., Actimize, SAS, Fenergo, Quantexa).
- Proven capability in solution design including workflows, case management, rules engines, data pipelines, analytics, and automation.
- Experience shaping client‑ready offerings with senior compliance, risk, technology, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Expertise in platform selection, vendor assessments, implementation governance, and operating model design within global delivery structures.
- Strong commercial acumen, including cost modelling, effort estimation, pricing, deal governance, and risk approval processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging Compliance Heads, CROs, CIOs, COOs, and regulators in highly regulated environments.
