Qualifications

  • Fully qualified or nearly qualified actuary with experience in a life actuarial function or life consultancy.
  • Ability to manage concurrent engagements and contribute to shaping and implementing KPMG's tailored solutions.
  • Strong technical and communication skills (written and oral), ready to engage clients and senior personnel from day one.
  • Strong project and people‑management skills, with the ability to structure task allocations around critical goals.
  • Strong coaching skills to develop junior team members.
  • Previous experience within a consultancy is advantageous.
  • Newly or nearly qualified actuaries from industry with the needed capabilities in client relationship cultivation, proposal assistance, and sales‑material development are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • As an Actuarial Consultant you will play a key delivery role in small teams across a wide range of client projects, including:
  • IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementations.
  • Finance transformations.
  • Mergers and acquisitions support.
  • Capital model advice.
