KPMG's Financial Services (FS) Corporate Tax team is growing, and we're looking for a Senior Manager who wants to help shape the future of our practice. We work with an impressive portfolio of UK and global banks, insurers and asset managers, delivering complex advisory and compliance work and supporting clients through a rapidly evolving tax landscape.
As a Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high quality tax advice to our financial services clients and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Your work will be varied, stimulating and advisory focused. You will be involved in:
- Leading and delivering corporate tax advisory engagements for FS clients
- Providing tax technical advice, including Pillar Two support where required
- Managing and reviewing corporate tax and Pillar Two compliance (optional, for those interested)
- Building and managing client relationships, including commercial and portfolio oversight
- Supporting tax audit work for our financial services audit clients
- Contributing to business development and helping to win new client work
You will have autonomy, client ownership and exposure to a broad range of projects from day one. We are looking for someone who brings strong technical skills, leadership ability and a collaborative mindset.
Skills & Experience
- Operating at Senior Manager level (or equivalent) with strong UK corporate tax experience
- CTA and/or ACA/CA qualified (or equivalent HMRC/legal/international qualification)
- Strong technical understanding of UK corporate tax, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting directly with clients
- Ability to manage, coach and develop junior team members
- Experience managing client portfolios, maintaining financial discipline and identifying opportunities
