Powered Enterprise is KPMG’s world‑class accelerated Enterprise Business Transformation approach for cloud‑based solutions driven by a pre‑defined back‑office function based on leading practices and KPMG’s six‑layer Target Operating Model. The Powered Connected Technology team is a community of technology focused professionals who deliver SaaS ERP based transformation programmes. The Workday Financials Assistant Manager will lead client programmes, support pre‑sales activities and develop improvements and extensions to the Powered Enterprise model.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Understanding of key business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing finance transformation programmes.
- Experience of multiple industry sectors (e.g. Media, Services, Retail, Banking, Insurance, Local and Central Government).
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to secure key decisions with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience of multiple Workday Finance ERP implementation project lifecycles, from presales, scoping and planning through to post‑go‑live support, as a Solution Architect.
- Detailed knowledge of Workday Finance enabled end‑to‑end business processes across Finance and Procurement.
- Background in designing and delivering end‑to‑end processes across multiple functional areas including Invoice to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, Project to Result.
- Broad knowledge of other Workday product sets such as HR and Payroll solutions.
- Understanding of functional, application and technical architectural elements of a Workday Finance programme.
- Experience of operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on premise.
- Understanding of a Workday Finance delivery lifecycle using Workday’s methodology or equivalent delivery method.
- Experience in planning and estimating Workday Finance programmes.
- Appreciation of user‑experience‑based design such as Personas and user journeys to augment solutions.

- Strong documentation, reporting and presentation skills in both virtual and in‑person mode.
- Well‑developed analytical skills and ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information.
- Experience producing project deliverables such as business requirements, functional specs, configuration documents, process flows, use cases and requirements traceability matrices.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Projects.
- Strong interpersonal, team‑building, organisational and motivational skills.
