Social Mobility Talent Insight Programmes

Our Insight programmes are designed to help you learn more about working life at KPMG. You will discover our work, diverse teams, and available career opportunities.

These programmes offer a chance to build work experience, develop new skills, expand your network, and gain lifelong learning. You will gain an insider’s view of a leading professional services firm, including our projects, industries, and the positive impact we make for clients, employees, and communities.

Who is it for?

We aim to create an inclusive environment where all colleagues thrive. Our long-term target is to increase representation from lower socio-economic backgrounds at partner level to 29% by 2030.

We recognize that individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds may face additional barriers, which is why we launched the Social Mobility Talent Insight Programme. It targets students from such backgrounds, including those who:

• Attended state school or college,
• The main household earner\’s occupation when you were 14 is classified as lower socio-economic,
• Were eligible for free school meals or attended a school with above regional average free school meals,
• Were the first in your immediate family to attend university.

Programme Details

Audit (Final year) Social Mobility Talent Insight

This programme is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates interested in learning about our business and developing professional skills. Over three days, you will meet diverse Audit teams, network, and explore career opportunities. Successful participation may lead to a graduate offer in the same location and business area.

Tax and Law (Final year) Social Mobility Talent Insight

Join our Tax Insight programme to learn about working with organizations on tax compliance and policy. It is designed for final-year students or recent graduates, offering networking and learning opportunities. A successful experience could also lead to a graduate offer in the same location and area.

Audit (Penultimate year) Social Mobility Talent Insight

This programme targets penultimate-year students, providing insights into our business and skills development. It includes networking and exploring career paths, with potential for a graduate offer in the same location and area.

Tax and Law (Penultimate year) Social Mobility Talent Insight

Similar to the final-year programme but for penultimate-year students, focusing on tax and legal careers with networking and skill-building opportunities.
