Role Overview
As a Low Code Proposition Lead, you’ll shape and lead KPMG’s technology modernisation initiatives powered by low-code platforms and AI-driven capabilities. The role is split between business development (50%) for leading go-to-market strategies and project delivery (50%) for ensuring client success in solution delivery. With deep expertise in Appian and at least one other low-code platform (preferably OutSystems), you’ll guide clients and internal teams through digital transformation journeys, championing AI-powered automation and modern platform capabilities.
Responsabilities:
- Deliver solutions which meet KPMG’s quality framework, whilst leveraging Appian best practises
- Identify, develop and land sales and project opportunities with clients, both new and existing, to deliver our propositions
- Be responsible for developing our Architecture patterns and Best Practices
- Have responsibility for maintaining our platforms and their integrations with other services / platforms
- Ensure our platforms remain compliant with required standards of Information and Data Security
- Proposing technical and creative business solutions
- Working in a DevOps model to support in flight solutions, whilst innovating on new opportunities
- Help identify new go to market opportunities for the Process & Automation Team
- Deliver showcases to clients and internal stakeholders, to help establish wider awareness of Process & Automation capabilities
- Designing and delivering high quality technical Proof of Concepts for prospective customers
- To have an up to date view of the roadmap of features for the technologies we use, and be able to articulate them
Leadership & Management:
- As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading client delivery teams and establishing KPMG as a trusted partner for Appian solutions. You will also mentor junior leaders and consultants on the delivery and commercialisation of low-code solutions

Essential experience
Technical skills
- Appian Certified Lead Developer
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in designing Appian Solutions
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in tech consulting, product delivery and business development
- Experience of Appian design patterns and best practises
- Strong knowledge of Appian objects: interfaces, process models, rules, CDT, records, reports, sites, integrations, and security
- Integration expertise with RESTful APIs and web services
- Strong understanding of Appian deployment processes, DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and version control (e.g., Git)
- Experience in performance tuning and scalability planning for enterprise Appian applications
- Ability to design Appian applications using AI Skills
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Appian Cloud
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Non-technical skills
- Proven track record of selling, shaping and delivering low-code solutions (Appian, OutSystems, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar)
- Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies and frameworks
- Experience leading client engagements across full project lifecycles from pitch to delivery
- Demonstrated ability to co-create client propositions and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and their use in intelligent process automation
- Strong commercial mindset and experience in closing deals, defining pricing models, and supporting account growth
- Strategic thinking, team leadership, and comfort interacting at CxO level
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on simplifying complex ideas for business audiences
Nice to have experience
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools
- Prior experience with SaaS product lifecycle, including roadmap ownership or product improvement
- Exposure to regulated sectors (e.g. banking, healthcare, public sector)
- Insight into platform alliances, vendor management or scaling delivery models via partnerships
- Experience combining low-code and traditional development approaches in enterprise environments
