The predicted salary is between 63000 - 77000 £ per year.
You will be an Identity Access Management (IAM) Senior Manager focusing on IAM controls within the Cyber Security team, helping to ensure we are able to deliver high quality work to clients in the IAM domain.
You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging engagements, from IAM strategy roll-out and IAM controls reviews to large scale IAM transformations.

Description of the Role
Managing complex IAM implementation and transformation programmes, from project inception through to final sign-off.
- Developing strategy, roadmaps and implementation plans for multiple IAM domains.
- Creating IAM solution blueprints and producing high-level designs for technical and process solutions for multiple IAM domains.
- Developing and supporting thought leadership into chosen areas of identity access management, specifically driving IAM controls automation and remediation.
- Developing an understanding of KPMG’s broader offerings to enable identification of business opportunities.
- Assisting with sales and business development activities.
- Coaching and developing junior team members through sharing of experience and knowledge.
- Performance management of junior staff.
- Striving for continuous development of self and team.
Leadership & Management
The role will require management of medium size engagement teams (5-10 colleagues) and require the candidate to provide on the job coaching and mentoring to junior team members, providing both technical and broader consultancy skill development.
The candidate will be expected to develop business relationships with various levels of client stakeholders, including CISOs, Heads of IAM, Security Architects, Cyber Risk Managers and Technology Leads.
The role also expects the candidate to develop their network in broader KPMG to identify and foster business development opportunities.
The role will also require development of business relationships with strategic vendor alliances.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance
The role will include engagement management of large IAM transformation programmes or multiple IAM strategy and review engagements simultaneously.
The role will exist in the Corporates Cyber capability and will require experience in KPMG’s Powered Cyber/IAM methodologies and also a good understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to IAM, e. g.
SOx.
Capability Development
The role will include development of KPMG’s IAM control framework which includes alignment to automated IAM solutions.
The role includes creation and management of methodologies, business development material and training pathways for the broader team.
Experience and Background
- Proven experience of working with or within Corporates which includes organisations focusing on Life Sciences, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), wider Retail, Utilities, Energy, Media and Telecoms.
- Experience of installation and configuration of IAM software (desirable).
- Experience of supporting defining, embedding and measuring IAM controls.
- Understanding of disruptive trends, and evolution of IAM solutions.
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive client relationships, both inside and outside of KPMG.
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive partner relationships with vendor and other supplier organisations.
- Ability to manage time and priorities between delivery and business development activities effectively to achieve results in both areas.
- Knowledge of different cloud providers and how identity controls are managed across them.
- General knowledge across multiple IAM domains, with in-depth experience across two or more specific domains from:
- Enterprise identity, including provisioning, JML, certification, RBAC, entitlement management, policy management, data access governance, identity analytics;
- Access management, including advanced authentication, identity federation, advanced authorisation;
- Privileged access management, including credential management, session management, discovery, inventory
Qualifications and Skills
- Recognised professional qualifications (e. g. CISSP, CISM, etc.), or comparable experience.
- Understanding of a wide range of information security and IT methodologies, principles, technologies and techniques (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), negotiation and project management skills.
- Acts collaboratively and is inclusive.
- Ability to produce high quality deliverables.
- Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
- Strong planning, organising and decision-making skills.
