Qualified Actuarial Consultants – Non-Life Reserving
Base Location: London, Manchester, and Edinburgh plus a network of 20 offices nationally.
What will you need to do it?
- The successful candidate is expected to be newly or near qualified.
- Degree in a numerate discipline; actuarial qualification preferred.
- Proven track record in analytical or pricing leadership with experience in the London Market.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial with the ability to bring clarity and structure to challenges that have not yet been solved.
- Excellent technical and modelling skills, with proficiency in pricing tools, large data analysis and portfolio management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds.
- Solid understanding of London Market business.
Technical & Functional
- 3 years+ experience in pricing for London Market insurance.
- Strong understanding of actuarial modelling and pricing using Hx Renew.
- Proven experience in pricing model or technology transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and data requirements.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to pricing governance.
Leadership & Delivery
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills – capable of simplifying complex issues for executive and non‑technical audiences.
- Highly organised, disciplined, and delivery‑focused.
