Qualified Actuarial Consultants – Non-Life Reserving
Base Location: London, Manchester, and Edinburgh plus a network of 20 offices nationally.
What will you need to do it?
The successful candidate is expected to be newly or near qualified. Degree in a numerate discipline; actuarial qualification preferred. Proven track record in analytical or pricing leadership with experience in the London Market. Innovative and entrepreneurial with the ability to bring clarity and structure to challenges that have not yet been solved. Excellent technical and modelling skills, with proficiency in pricing tools, large data analysis and portfolio management skills. Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds. Solid understanding of London Market business.
Technical & Functional
- 3 years+ experience in pricing for London Market insurance.
- Strong understanding of actuarial modelling and pricing using Hx Renew.
- Proven experience in pricing model or technology transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and data requirements.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to pricing governance.
Leadership & Delivery
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills – capable of simplifying complex issues for executive and non‑technical audiences.
- Highly organised, disciplined, and delivery‑focused.
