The Sales team is looking for a highly motivated New Business Sales professional who is excited about selling a disruptive technology solution in the maritime market and hunting new logos!
More specifically, you will:
- Execute business development activities to strategically grow the customer base through prospecting and cold calling.
- Leverage a repeatable sales process to drive closure.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect new business, develop opportunities, demo the product, and close sales.
- Follow up on highly qualified opportunities at mid-sized and large companies.
- Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
- Work collaboratively with our global Sales team, product, and market analysts to build the best product in the market and close exciting global deals.
- Conduct live demonstrations on web applications through virtual or physical meetings.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date forecasts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly periods.
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets and lead contract negotiations.
- Help build and drive sales processes and strategy.
- Travel 3-5 times a year to represent Kpler at industry events and conferences.
Your experience:
- Significant experience (4+ years) selling data/tech/software to Maritime/Shipping/Supply Chain/Energy markets.
- A successful track record of selling complex products or propositions using a consultative approach.
- Extensive SAAS/DAAS and B2B sales experience.
- Proven ability to generate brand-new business sales opportunities.
- Driven, self-disciplined, able to work autonomously, and thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
- A team player focused on maximizing long-term gains for the business and team.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent customer service, active listening, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs.
- Motivated with a positive attitude.
