Kpler is transforming how charterers, operators, and traders work through AIâpowered chartering tools and Inbox, our maritime eâmail and workflow hub. As a Sales Specialist, you will drive direct commercial outcomes, meet clear revenue and adoption targets, and act as the goâto expert helping customers understand the value of Kpler\âs chartering and communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Own revenue and adoption KPIs for Chartering and Inbox solutions.
Drive pipeline generation and progression, ensuring targets are hit consistently.
Lead highâimpact product demos tailored to charterers, operators, brokers, and traders.
Manage proofâofâvalue and trial cycles endâtoâend, addressing workflows, objections and ROI.
Support Global AMs on certain deals and negotiations with productâspecific expertise.
Track competitor landscapes across chartering and maritime eâmail providers.
Deliver insights to Product and PMM to strengthen positioning and accelerate product development.
Ensure Sales has sharp, upâtoâdate messaging, battlecards and useâcase narratives.
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, aligning product capabilities to chartering workflows and operational pain points.
Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong onboarding and expansion opportunities.
Represent Kpler at client meetings, events and webinars as a subjectâmatter expert for Chartering & Inbox.
Drive awareness and preference for Kpler across the maritime ecosystem.
Qualifications
5+ years\â of SaaS sales experience (minimum 3 years in chartering software, maritime tech, freight SaaS or commercial shipping roles).
Solid understanding of preâfixture workflows, vessel screening, eâmail/communication flows and operational data needs.
Proven experience in quotaâbearing or KPIâdriven roles.
Strong presentation, storytelling and discovery skills.
Ability to manage complex, multiâstakeholder sales cycles.
Previous experience with maritime eâmail providers (desirable).
