As part of the Insight Client Engagement team, you will coordinate activities across the growing team and serve as a key point of contact in the client–analyst relationship. You will manage client interactions throughout the pre- and post-sales process, supporting the continued expansion of Kpler Insight. You will collaborate with the Sales and Insight teams, as well as with prospects and clients, engaging with clients on energy commodities markets and the wider commodity landscape.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between Kpler’s commercial teams and the Insight analysts.
- Assist with the sales process of Kpler Insight — use Kpler’s proprietary information; work closely with the sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the value of Kpler’s solutions to the industry and articulate the value proposition.
- Compile and present cross-commodity market updates as part of the sales process and ongoing client engagement.
- Coordinate with the broader Insight team for more specific or in-depth presentations.
- Promote research and materials produced within Kpler across external stakeholders; build relationships with mainstream and specialist media.
- Produce and present company webinars and participate in external webinars and conferences as a panellist or speaker.
- Leverage experience to enhance commodity market coverage by working with the Insight team to implement improvements.
- 8+ years trading/analysis experience in a major commodity group, with a preference for Gas/LNG markets.
- Confident external speaker, e.g., at conferences.
- Experience in a sell-side research business.
- Experience of working with live media.
- Technical / Functional Skills: high competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; solid understanding of market dynamics of commodities with a focus on at least one of Oil, Gas/LNG, or Dry Bulk.
- Behavioural Competencies: comfortable talking to clients and prospects in high-stress/demanding environments.
