Electrical Improvers and Electrician's Mates Required

Location: Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne

Duration: Immediate Start – Work Available Until End of 2026

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Pay: Negotiable Depending on Experience

KP Jones Electrical is looking for reliable and hardworking Electrical Improvers and Electrician's Mates to join our team on a large student accommodation refurbishment project on Newcastle Quayside. This is a long-term opportunity with work available through to the end of the year for the right candidates.

Duties will include:

  • First fix and second fix electrical installations
  • Site temporary power installations and maintenance
  • Safe isolation procedures
  • Testing and commissioning assistance
  • General electrical installation works
  • Working alongside qualified electricians as part of a professional team

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical installation experience
  • ECS Card preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Own tools preferred
