We’re hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a highly technical manufacturing environment based in Stockport. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing quality documentation, build records, and release certification, ensuring products are fully compliant and ready for customer approval.

  • £40,000 - £45,000 p/a
  • Mon – Fri | 7am – 3:30pm or 8am – 4:30pm
  • Overtime available
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Quality Assurance Technician?

  • Managing and maintaining quality documentation and production records
  • Building and compiling release packs and certification documents
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate, traceable, and audit-ready
  • Tracking and updating technical queries, change requests, and revisions
  • Liaising with production, procurement, and quality teams to gather data
  • Supporting traceability and serialisation checks across builds
  • Reviewing documents to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards
  • Assisting with root cause analysis and general problem solving
  • Occasionally supporting inspection activities on the shop floor

What will you need?

  • Previous experience in a quality, admin, or documentation-based role within manufacturing
  • Ability to manage technical documentation
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Understanding of quality processes, traceability, or certification
  • Ability to work closely with shop floor teams and multiple departments
