We’re hiring for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled and experienced workforce at an ultra-modern manufacturing facility based in Stockport.
What’s on offer?
- £44,000 - £48,000 p/a
- Mon – Fri | 8:15 am – 4:30 pm
- Early finish on Fridays
- 35 hour week
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5X)
- 25 days + bank holidays

What will you be doing as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer?
- Carrying out scheduled, planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensuring assets and equipment are available to operate for the correct level of activity needed for manufacturing.
- Providing in depth knowledge on PLC, inverters and drives to fault diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
- Investigating breakdowns by generating reports, fault finding, using diagnostic skills and providing leadership, support and technical assistance.
- Writing reports that input problem solving solutions, identify root causes and assess safety, reliability and performance.
- Working closely with line managers to assess failed techniques.
- Working closely with line managers and a variety of departments to minimise production disruptions and downtime.
What do you need?
- Experience with CNC machine maintenance.
- In depth knowledge of PLC, inverters, and drives.
- Previous experience in report writing.
- The ability to demonstrate problem solving and discuss/demonstrate techniques.
- Previously worked in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
