Weβre hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a longstanding fabrication company based in Hyde .
This is a hands-on role working on a variety of TIG welding and fabrication projects, primarily using stainless steel.
Whatβs on offer?
- Β£18.00 – Β£19.20 per hour
- Monday to Friday 7:30am β 4:45pm
- Early finish on Thursdays and Fridays
- Standard holiday entitlement + bank holidays
- Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
- Christmas party and team events
What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker?
- TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel components
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Carrying out metal forming tasks such as bending, rolling, and cutting
- Producing high-quality metalwork to exact specifications
- Supporting general fabrication and workshop duties as needed
What do you need?
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawing
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Familiarity working with stainless steel materials
- Previous experience in a similar sheet metal or fabrication role
