We’re hiring for a Service Engineer to join a well-established business based in Stockport. This is a practical, hands-on role split between on-site work and workshop repairs, ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, mechanical work, and variety in their day.
What’s on offer?
- £28k - £32k p/a
- Mon – Fri | 8:30am – 5pm
- 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
- Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
- Christmas bonus
- Christmas shutdown period
- Company vehicle (work use only)
What will you be doing as a Service Engineer?
- Servicing and repairing scrubber dryers, extraction carpet machines, rotary floor machines and vacuum cleaners
- Mixture of on-site and workshop-based work
- Working on motors, pumps, switches, axles and gearboxes
- Carrying out occasional PAT testing
- Fitting soap and hand sanitiser dispensers
- Assisting in the warehouse (occasionally)
- Carrying out works across Greater Manchester and occasionally around the Midlands
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with cleaning machines
- UK driving licence
