We are looking for a Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to join a finance team in Worsley. This is a role suited to someone with Sales Ledger Experience, as you will be supporting the Finance Director with customer sales orders, invoices, credit notes, receipts and general finance administration.

What will you be doing as a Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant?
- Preparing detailed and accurate financial information
- Processing customer sales orders, invoices, credit notes and receipts
- Managing disputed invoices and chasing overdue debts
- Liaising with customers to support prompt receipt of invoices, credit notes and payments
- Checking and processing service and spare part invoices
- Posting invoices into SAP
- Issuing monthly customer statements
- Adding new customers to the system
- Scanning, filing and archiving documents
- Answering incoming calls for the department
- Supporting colleagues with key tasks during absence and month end
- Completing other administrative and financial tasks as required
