We re hiring for a Production Operative to join a busy department at a large, well-established manufacturer based in Glossop
What s on offer?
- £11.90 per hour
- Monday Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm / Friday 2:30 finish
- Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
What will you be doing as a Production Operative?
- Scanning and wrapping pallets
- Working closely with deliveries to help load/unload product
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklift trucks to help carry out your duties
- Identifying and reporting any problems or faults relating to your area or any other area of your responsibility
- Operating in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures
- Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained
What do you need?
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Physically fit enough to manually move products
- FLT License advantageous but not essential (full training available)
- Reliable, hard working and good communication skills
