We’re looking for a Deburrer & Finishing Operative to join a busy engineering business in Poynton.
This is a role suited to someone with manufacturing or engineering experience, as you will be deburring, dressing, cleaning and checking parts within a workshop environment.

What will you be doing as a Deburrer & Finishing Operative?
- Deburring parts and dressing them through bead blasting and rubbing up
- Using hand tools, grinders, drills, taps, reamers and jigsaws
- Checking part dimensions, PO numbers, part numbers and contract numbers
- Recording information on parts and drawings
- Cleaning parts using degreaser, washing up liquid, water and various thinners
- Supporting goods inwards by bringing in parcels and deliveries
- Maintaining bench tools, cleaning stations, tooling and equipment
- Supporting packaging of parts and materials
- Helping to keep CNC machinery, swarf areas and work areas clean and safe
- Monitoring tooling, consumables and equipment
What will you need?
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Experience using hand tools and grinders
- Drawing and computer knowledge
