We’re hiring for an Electrician to join a specialist engineering business based in New Mills working on the installation, testing and fault finding of industrial machinery and 3-phase systems across a range of sites.
What’s on offer?
- £18 - £20.08 p/h
- Annual bonus of up to £5,000
- Mon - Fri | 45 hour week | flexihours
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (2x on Sundays)
- 20 days holiday + banks (rising with service)
- Standard pension scheme
- Overnight allowance (£40 per night when staying away)
- Ongoing training and development
What will you be doing as an Electrician?
- Installing and wiring industrial machinery and equipment
- Working with 3-phase systems, containment and armoured cabling
- Completing testing, inspection and fault finding on machinery
- Installing lighting and power within industrial environments
- Reading and working from technical drawings and schematics
- Supporting installation, upgrades and modifications on-site
- Working across multiple projects (mainly North West, occasional travel)
What will you need?
- Proven experience working on machinery or plant equipment (not essential)
- A background in electrical installations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Strong understanding of 3-phase systems and site work
- Full UK driving licence
- City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification (not essential)
