We are looking for a CNC Applications Engineer to join a CNC machinery business in Milton Keynes. This is a role suited to someone with proven CNC machining experience, as you will be taking components from CAD model or drawing through to programming, machining and finished production.

- Mon - Fri | 9am - 5pm

What will you be doing as a CNC Applications Engineer?
- Assessing drawings and CAD models to determine the best machining approach
- Taking components through programming, machine setup and finished production
- Completing feasibility studies, sample machining and proof-of-concept work
- Demonstrating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machine capabilities
- Advising on tooling, cutting strategies, workholding and process improvements
- Troubleshooting machining issues and recommending corrective action
- Providing technical guidance and machine training to customers
- Working with machine, tooling and software suppliers to develop manufacturing solutions
- Producing demonstration parts and application examples
