Mechanical Assembler

We\’re hiring for a Mechanical Assembler to join a forward‑thinking company that specialises in high‑quality manufacturing and fabrication at their site based in Chapel‑en‑le‑Frith, High Peak.

This is a great opportunity to work within a structured engineering workshop, operating a variety of industrial machinery to ensure products are manufactured to a high standard.

What\’s on offer?

• £15.03 – £17.40 per hour
• Rotating shifts: 5:00 – 14:30 / 14:30 – 00:00 Monday – Thursday
• Overtime available at an enhanced rates

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Assembler?

• Assisting in the assembly of large‑scale mechanical components, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions to complete tasks
• Using hand and power tools to assemble parts efficiently and safely
• Performing quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications

What do you need?

• Previous mechanical assembly experience is essential
• The ability to read and follow technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work
• The ability to work well in a team and meet production targets
