Salford, Greater Manchester , supporting a growing operation that delivers bespoke technical solutions.
This is a key leadership role suited to someone who can manage a supply chain team while remaining hands‑on with day‑to‑day operations.
You’ll be focused on improving systems, strengthening team structure, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and building close working relationships across the business, particularly with Finance.

What will you be doing as a Supply Chain Manager?
- Managing and supporting the supply chain team and overseeing day‑to‑day supply chain operations
- Improving systems and increasing automation across the department
- Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support planning, reporting, and process improvements
- Identifying and delivering cost‑saving opportunities
- Working closely with the Finance team to improve visibility, accuracy, and collaboration
- Maintaining operational effectiveness while driving continuous improvement
- Supporting purchasing, stock control, supplier management, and wider operational activity where required
What will you need?
- Previous experience managing a supply chain team
- Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- A hands‑on approach and willingness to support daily operational activities
- Experience working closely with Finance or commercial teams
- The ability to identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to systems, process improvement, and automation
