We re looking for an Engineering Admin Assistant to join a manufacturing business in Worsley.
This is a role suited to someone with administration, document control or office support experience, as you will be supporting the Design Office with project documentation, book packs and digital document management.

What will you be doing as an Engineering Admin Assistant?
- Creating, compiling and issuing project book packs
- Collating drawings, calculations, manuals, certificates and project documentation
- Checking documents are complete, accurate and professionally presented
- Maintaining document templates and standard formats
- Supporting the production of Operation & Maintenance manuals
- Converting project documentation into formatted PDF packs
- Creating bookmarks, hyperlinks, indexes and searchable digital documents
- Supporting the move from paper-based filing to electronic document management
- Maintaining project records and documentation databases
- Tracking drawing revisions and document issue registers
- Controlling incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Liaising with Design Engineers, Project Managers, Purchasing, Production, suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting customer documentation requests and project handovers
- Helping improve document control processes, presentation, storage and retrieval methods
What will you need?
- Previous experience in an administrative, document control or office support role
- Previous experience in an engineering environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience managing large volumes of documentation
