We’re hiring for a Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Macclesfield. In this role, you will be carrying out hands-on mechanical fitting and assembly work on a short-term, 3 month contract with the potential for overtime.
What’s on offer?
- £19 p/h
- Mon – Fri | 7.30am–4.30pm
- 1:30pm finish on Fridays
- 3 month temporary contract
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?
- Fitting conveyors, structural framework, rollers and bearings
- Assembling motors, pumps, gearboxes, couplings and sprockets
- Installing pneumatics, mixers and flow meters
- Aligning couplings using shims
- Fitting nuts, olives and trunking
What do you need?
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Must have your own tools and PPE
- Reliable with a strong hands-on approach
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
