We're hiring for a Production Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing operation based in the High Peak. This is a senior shop-floor leadership role where you'll control daily output, performance, labour planning, and operational discipline across a large team.

What will you be doing as a Production Manager?

  • Owning daily production performance across multiple shifts
  • Managing OEE/OAE targets and driving recovery plans where needed
  • Leading supervisors and holding teams accountable for safety, output and quality
  • Controlling labour deployment and overtime spend
  • Reducing scrap, rework and downtime
  • Driving 5S and shop‑floor discipline
  • Leading daily production meetings with clear actions and accountability
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to remove constraints
  • Managing KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting
  • Supporting Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Leading, coaching and developing a large production team
