Weβre hiring for a Production Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing operation based in the High Peak. This is a senior shop-floor leadership role where youβll control daily output, performance, labour planning, and operational discipline across a large team.

What will you be doing as a Production Manager?
- Owning daily production performance across multiple shifts
- Managing OEE/OAE targets and driving recovery plans where needed
- Leading supervisors and holding teams accountable for safety, output and quality
- Controlling labour deployment and overtime spend
- Reducing scrap, rework and downtime
- Driving 5S and shop-floor discipline
- Leading daily production meetings with clear actions and accountability
- Collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to remove constraints
- Managing KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting
- Supporting Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Leading, coaching and developing a large production team
What will you need?
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing employees across shifts
- Solid understanding of OEE, KPIs and performance metrics
- Confident using ERP and production reporting systems
