We're hiring for an Electrician to join a global manufacturer based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, to wire and test electrical control panels in a modern heavy engineering workshop.

- £33,000 - £38,000 per annum
- 4-day workweek
- Day shifts: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
- Overtime available at an enhanced rate

What will you be doing as an Electrician?
- Assembling and connecting a kit of electromechanical components and testing
- Building, wiring & testing electrical control panels
- Fitting electrical panels, wiring & testing electro-mechanical wire-roped hoists
- Undertaking of electrical fault finding where required
- Using engineering best practice, Electrical Schematics, Mechanical Drawings and Electrical Works Instructions to ensure that work produced conforms to relevant drawing specifications/tolerances or limits
What do you need?
- Time served to NVQ3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Have experience of working as an electrician within heavy manufacturing
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience with 3 phase electrical systems and control panels
- Experience with frequency Inverters and PLC's
