We are looking for an HGV Technician to join a commercial vehicle business in Warrington. This is a role suited to someone with at least 5 years experience working on HGVs, as you will be carrying out servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs across trucks and trailers.

  • Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
  • Every other Saturday 6am - 12pm

What will you be doing as an HGV Technician?

  • Carrying out servicing, inspections and general repairs
  • Working across trucks and trailers, with around 70% truck work and 30% trailer work
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Identifying defects and completing the required repair work
  • Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Carrying out basic MIG welding when required

What will you need?

  • At least 5 years experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
  • Level 3 NVQ qualification
