We’re hiring for an Engineering Quality Administrator to join a leading engineering business based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, supporting document control, manufacturing records, certification, and customer release processes within a quality-focused environment. This is a key support role within the Quality department, suited to someone with strong administration experience, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with technical documentation in a manufacturing, goods inward, supply chain, or quality setting. What’s on offer? * £35,000 per annum * Mon – Thu | 7am – 3:30pm (early finish on Fridays) * 7% employer pension contribution * Unionised workplace with supportive management * Modern manufacturing facility, offices, and canteen What will you be doing as an Engineering Quality Administrator? * Managing and maintaining documentation in an organised and systematic way * Numbering, registering, distributing, and tracking change control documentation such as technical queries and change requests * Providing an auditable trail of project documentation * Quality checking documents to ensure correct document references * Receiving and issuing documents in line with project timescales * Reviewing, completing, and updating production data documentation * Recording traceability information and checking accompanying certification * Ensuring material certification, assembly records, and manufacturing documents are readily available for internal, customer, and GQA acceptance trials * Liaising with customer Quality Assurance Representatives when required Supporting cross-functional teams including Procurement, Production, and QA * Assisting with physical inspection activities across assembly, PDI, or FAT when needed What do you need? * Previous experience in an administration role within goods inward, supply chain, quality, or a similar environment * Degree, HND, HNC, or significant experience within an engineering environment A current driving licence * Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation * Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook What’s nice to have? * Experience within a regulated or quality-focused industry such as aerospace, automotive, medical, defence, or manufacturing * Experience using ERP or quality management systems * Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AQAP quality management standards * Familiarity with Certificates of Conformance, material certificates, or test reports Interested?
