Goods In Inspector

We’re hiring for a Goods-In Inspector to join an award-winning engineering manufacturer based in Glossop to support the expansion of their business. What’s on offer? * £27,000 per annum * Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm / Friday 1pm finish * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Company events * Career progression opportunities * Cycle to work scheme * Health & wellbeing programme * Free onsite parking What will you be doing as a Goods-In Inspector? * Moving machined parts from production area to goods inward * Checking goods received from external suppliers * Recording goods received on the company’s computer systems * Raising any goods received non-conformance that may be found * Assisting with non-conformance investigations on goods received * Calibration management – internal and external What do you need? * An engineering background is essential – precision engineering preferred * Knowledge of measuring equipment – Verniers, Ring Gauges, Plug Gauges * Methodical and focused approach to work * Thorough and patient with excellent attention to detail * FLT licence would be beneficial * Quality Assurance awareness * Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards advantages Apply now for consideration or speak with John at KPJ Group if you have any questions between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
