We are hiring for an Estimating Manager to lead a lively pre-construction function within an established mechanical building contractor based in Salford. With strong project flow, a healthy win ratio and succession planning in place, this is a genuine long-term opportunity with progression toward Director level.

What will you be doing as an Estimating Manager?
- Leading and managing the estimating department and workload
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting tenders using Trimble estimating software
- Managing between 200 - 250 tenders annually across mechanical building projects
- Reviewing tender documentation and producing detailed take-offs
- Issuing subcontractor and supplier enquiries and analysing returns
- Building and maintaining client relationships from Stage 3 to Stage 4 design
- Attending client meetings, pre-tender discussions and contractor engagement sessions
- Working closely with business development to identify new tender opportunities
