We are hiring for a Community Response Officer to join a compassionate, community-focused organisation supporting vulnerable adults across the High Peak area. You’ll play a vital role in providing reassurance, emergency response, and practical assistance to help people live independently and safely in their own homes.

What will you be doing as a Community Response Officer?
- Responding to emergency calls from clients and providing practical or emotional support
- Assisting individuals who have fallen or require help with mobility using specialist equipment
- Installing, testing, and maintaining Carelink alarm units and telecare devices
- Recording accurate information and maintaining clear client records
- Liaising with emergency services, relatives, and social care teams when required
- Conducting regular checks on vehicles, equipment, and CCTV systems
- Providing companionship and reassurance during emergency situations
What do you need?
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working with elderly/vulnerable individuals
- A flexible approach to varied shift patterns
