We’re hiring for a CNC Miller to join a leading engineering firm at their site based in Stockport. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines, utilising controls such as Haas, Fanuc and Siemens. What’s on offer? * £18.56 – £19.70 p/h * Mon–Fri | 7:30am – 4:30pm * 12:30pm finish on Fridays * Overtime available * 25 days holiday + banks * Pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Stable, award-winning employer with global reach What will you be doing as a CNC Miller? * Setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines * Utilising various controls, including Haas Fanuc and Siemens based systems * Manufacturing high-precision components for diverse industries * Ensuring accurate interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications * Carrying out routine maintenance and troubleshooting machine issues * Performing inspections and quality checks on finished components What will you need? * Proven experience in setting and operating FANUC * Hands on experience with CNC milling operations and programmes * Familiarity with CNC vertical milling machines * Experience with manufacturing steel components * Exposure to working with a range of materials such as aluminium, mild steel and stainless steels Interested?
