We're looking for a CAD Technician to join an engineering specialist at their site based in in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
This is a role suited to someone with experience using 3D Auto CAD within a construction or engineering environment, as you will be producing technical drawings, 3D models and design documentation.

What will you be doing as a CAD Technician?
- Preparing design layouts and detailed engineering drawings
- Producing accurate 3D Auto CAD models
- Integrating topographical surveys with Ordnance Survey coordinates
- Producing setting-out plans
- Updating design documentation in line with revision-control procedures
- Creating and maintaining a library of standard CAD objects and symbols
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to keep technical information moving
- Carrying out site visits to support the design process
- Producing and updating accurate as-built drawings
- Supporting wider teams with technical drawings and design information
What will you need?
- City & Guilds Level 3 in CAD, or an equivalent qualification
- At least five years' experience using 3D Auto CAD within a construction or engineering environment
- Strong Auto CAD skills, including 3D modelling for engineering drawings
- Experience using Auto CAD MEP
- Driving licence
