The Engineer will develop safety solutions that balance high-voltage and functional safety requirements, using thorough safety analysis. This involves creating technical solutions that meet input requirements, are supported by analysis, and comply with applicable technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute system integration and integration testing activities
- Integrate diagnostics functions across multiple ECUs and networks
- Develop and execute diagnostic integration test cases
- Validate UDS services, DTC handling, and communication diagnostics
- Identify, track, and support resolution of integration defects
- Support test automation and maintain test reports and traceability
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory:
- Hold a formal qualification such as degree within Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or another relevant subject
- Experience: 6β10 years in automotive system/diagnostics integration and testing
- Relevant experience in Diagnostics, Degradation & Health Management for Assisted and Automated Driving Systems
- Ability for HIL level & vehicle level validation, test cases execution & test logs capture
- Ability for Test Log Analysis & Issue triage to figure out the Root Cause in the System
- Review logs with Wireshark, Note++, obtain Vehicle Snapshot to assess software responses, analyse DTCs, DIDs and other debugging information
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics (UDS, DTC, OBD)
- Experience with CAN/Ethernet-based vehicle networks
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer or similar
- Experience in ECU/system integration and testing environments
- Understanding of Automotive SPICE SYS.4 process
- Vehicle Testing experience
Nice to Have
- Scripting experience
- Class3+ license to drive VB vehicles is preferable
- Corvus tool knowledge to test software, save logs as test evidence
- Lauterbach/Trace-32/Corvus to flash software file
- Use of MT kit to access ECU core and logs
- Execute test following testing scenarios, record actual behaviors if differ from expected to Xray in Jira
