KPI Recruiting is currently seeking a Trainee Electronics Technician to join a well-established and growing business in Northwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a qualification or keen interest in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field who is looking to gain hands-on experience and build a long-term career in industry. If you're technically minded, enjoy problem-solving, and want to develop practical skills working with specialist electronic equipment, full training will be provided to help you succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, testing, and checking instruments before dispatch
- Learning to calibrate, service, and maintain specialist equipment
- Assisting with fault finding and repairs on electronic devices
- Packing and booking equipment in and out
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- A qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline, or a strong interest in these areas
- A practical and hands-on approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Soldering experience would be advantageous but is not essential
