We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced distribution operation working to tight daily deadlines. This is a hands-on role, leading from the front to ensure workflow efficiency and team performance across a busy warehouse environment.
The Role
- Supervise and support the warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Deliver daily dispatch and production targets
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach FLT where required
- Manage pick waves and stock replenishment processes
- Allocate labour effectively based on workload and priorities
- Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
- Communicate effectively with senior management
- Complete basic HR duties including timesheets, absence management and arranging cover
- Train and develop team members to improve overall performance
- Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of pick/pack, dispatch and stock control processes
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Reach Truck licence
