This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised Depot Clerk for one of our busiest clients based in Larkhall to work on a 5 on 2/3 off shift pattern. You will be required to do one week of backshift on a rotational pattern.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position requires proficiency in data entry.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Liaising with the traffic department to support on-time deliveries
  • Liaising with customers to ensure customers’ expectations are met
  • Manage and organise files, both electronic and paper-based
  • Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette
  • Support the team with clerical duties as needed
  • Maintain an organised office environment to enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
Experience:
  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential
  • Demonstrate a good customer focus
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with a CRM
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to work to timescales
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Required to assist with the loading and unloading
  • Strong understanding of safe loading and transport
  • Experience supporting all new starters
